How Do I Do That?

This post by Dennis Villano originally appeared on the BPS EdTech Blog.

The BPS EdTech Team will have a session of the How Do I Do That program on Wednesday, January 13 from 2:30-4:30PM at the Fox Hill Elementary School Library. The session will provide technology support from the BPS EdTech and IT Teams.

Members of the EdTech Team will be available for support with the ongoing BPS initiatives including the use of Open Educational Resources and the implementation of Remote Learning opportunities for our students. BPS Remote Learning uses concepts of blended learning and digital resources. Remote learning is a great option for canceled school days. Students can continue their progress with coursework even when the school day is canceled because of snow.

Support will be available for curriculum development in English Language Arts. Join members of the district curriculum team to create lessons and projects that infuse technology into ELA.

Teachers will also be able to seek support for BPS Educator Evaluation. Please join with questions about the process.

BPS teachers can again bundle hours of participation at How Do I Do That sessions during the school year for Burlington inservice credits. Ten hours of participation will earn one inservice credit. Twenty hours will earn two inservice credits. There is a maximum of two inservice credits for staff members each year.
