February is Black History Month and we’re celebrating here at the Fox Hill Library Media Center. BrainPop is one of our favorite resources to use to discover interesting information about all kinds of topics, and this month we used BrainPop to help us learn all about prominent African American figures. Tim and Moby helped us learn about important figures such as Frederic Douglas, Maya Angelou, Malcolm X, Duke Ellington, Harriet Tubman, George Washington Carver, and President Barack Obama, and reflect on their achievements and contributions to our country. Visit the Library Media Center and check out a book from our Black History Month display to learn more!
